Join us as we explore ancient Native American trails, camps, and villages, and search for new, previously undiscovered sites. We will be hiking a mostly-level 3-5 mile trip, navigating the low altitude grasslands of the Sierra Nevada foothills near Cool, California. The trip leader will discuss the history and natural world of this area, sharing his knowledge of the local Native Americans, as well as the flora, fauna, and geology of the area. Sunday trips, during the summer, will be hosted at a higher elevation petroglyph site, a unique place not known to the general public. This is a rare opportunity to view ancient rock art, with an (amateur) archaeologist present. And it's above the summer heat! Our trip will also explore new areas, if desired, in search for previously unknown, undocumented cultural resources. Any new sites will be passed along to the North Central Information Center for historical preservation. This is your chance to find history! After the hike, participants will receive a detailed map and photos, if desired, from the trip. This is a kid-friendly, dog-friendly walk, so plan on taking your time! In this fun class, you will learn how to make three different mochi dishes. First we will make fresh mochi with a choice of fillings: sweet red bean and fresh strawberries, peanut butter and chocolate mini cups, nutella, and others. Second, we will make the popular ice cream mochi with mini-scooped ice cream balls. Your choice of ice cream. I like green tea ice cream. Third, we will bake mochi donuts and then glaze them beautifully with vanilla, clear, or chocolate glaze. You and other guests will enjoy making and shaping the mochi dough, filling it with delicious fillings, and eating them with others. This 2.5-hour group clinic was designed with the beginner in mind – we welcome complete newbies as well as people who have tried surfing on their own for a while and still need help. We will walk you through all the basics to get you started and catching waves! The class starts with a short land lesson covering safety, paddling mechanics, and how to catch waves and get up on the board. They will be worthy of ourselves, our closest friends and family and made from premium, locally sourced, small batch/boutique, organic fruits, juices, and flowers (when available) scratch ingredients. When we've assembled our mise en place, we'll be about the business of mixology, where we'll put it all together with premium liquors to craft some truly unique drinks to razzle-dazzle your family and friends. You will be reclaiming cedar or redwood to create an heirloom, movable, durable toy to enjoy or pass on to someone special. Some of these toys, that were made 30 years ago, are still being displayed by my nephews and nieces. The day will begin with 2-3 hours in the shop cutting, shaping and gluing parts for your toy. Human-cow interaction is known to reduce anxiety and stress. With the fast paced world we live in, we believe it is important to connect with nature and ourselves. Our Cow Cuddle Therapy will start with a safety briefing and we can then enter the barn to meet and greet our beautiful cows and calves. A visit to our own private redwood grove. Locked away in a private family trust for over one hundred years and located on the grounds of a private camp from the 1800s, sits the Bohemian Redwoods. This special property is located not far off the Bohemian highway in west Sonoma near the Russian river at the border of Camp Meeker and Monte Rio. Our property is adjacent to over 500 acres of redwoods donated to the county of Sonoma in 2020. You will have the unique opportunity to chill on our property, featuring acres of redwoods, hear a little history, and then access a 2 mile hiking loop onto Sonoma County Park land, directly adjacent to our land. This is a once in a lifetime venue, adjacent to world class hiking. Hiking is medium challenge - some relatively steep and windy climbs, but definitely doable for a beginner or first timer.

There is nothing to do but show up and receive. Sound healing is an ancient practice that transmits vibrational patterns to entrain the body's frequencies into a more coherent state, transmuting those that are not in our highest health. Healing can occur on a cellular level: structuring internal waters, moving stagnant energy, balancing brain hemispheres, aligning chakra centers, calming anxiety, quieting the monkey mind - all providing better sleep and more vitality. In terms of what to expect, I will be hosting for you a tea tasting in my private tea house. I will serve up to three different teas from my personal collection and can serve decaffeinated varieties upon request. The duration of the session will last for around two hours.
