Our stay in this home was such a treat! We enjoyed utilizing the kayaks to boat around in Chesapeake Bay. The hot tub was an absolute delight, perfect for evening stargazing, saw lots of shooting stars, and could see the water of the bay from the hot tub. We also enjoyed doing November cold plunges from the hot tub to the pool. While the living room is not expansive, it fit our needs for family game & movie nights. The bed linens were so comfortable, and Lori was beautifully responsive & friendly when we would reach out with a question. We also enjoyed the nearby Sandy beaches.

Beautiful views! Very peaceful. We enjoyed every moment, from waking up seeing the water to watching sunsets from the dock! We loved the grill and hot tub area! Had a blast!

We had a great time, John thought of everything you could need. Place was as described however it was bigger then we had expected. If your gonna be in the area it’s a must to stay at John’s. Even his staff was friendly and helpful, when looking for fish markets and with any questions we asked about the area. We couldn’t say enough good things! The place/grounds are beautiful. Thank you John!

Everything was wonderful, easy to get in, and our host John was very helpful and friendly. Hotub was clean no trash in the yards felt just like home. comfortable beds the walkway to the beach was very private enjoyed that as well. Overall our stay was amazing and would love to be able to stay there again. We had so much fun <3 provided us with some detergent to wash clothes I thought that was thoughtful.

Great place to stay! We had everything we needed. Host was great with explaining everything we needed to know beforehand.

Richard was very responsive and kind, he worked with us on a flexible check out time. The spot is an incredibly peaceful getaway.

From the moment you walk through the door the view welcomes you and says “relax”. Jennifer went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Drinks and snacks, local recipe to make during our stay and plenty to do without ever leaving the property. You basically just need to bring your clothes. She’s got everything else covered! We will definitely be back to enjoy warmer weather activities, but coming to visit in the fall, I highly recommend if you’re in need of some down time with the fam!!

To say this house was a dream come true would be an understatement. From the moment we drove up the long driveway and laid eyes on the picturesque setting of the red house nestled in the woods, we fell in love. My 17-year old daughter walked in and said the pictures online did it no justice and she is exactly right. The house was immaculate, with every feature you could possibly imagine. The technology throughout was unbelievable. Google Home in EVERY room. TVs with surround sound. A game room that kept us busy for hours. A karaoke machine. It was a much needed getaway. Our dogs were in heaven with the acres of land to explore on walks. I have never felt so relaxed. I just can’t say enough. I love the city of Cape Charles but honestly did not want to leave this house. The host, Dave, was so great with communicating, even before we arrived. We will definitely plan another visit here! I would say the only downside was getting carpel tunnel trying to beat high scores in the arcade room. ?

Absolutely beautiful home. Everything was exactly like the pictures. The weather prevented us from getting to fully enjoy the bay views, but we did get a snippet of how amazing it could be. They had plenty of supplies at the home for our convenience. I would definitely recommend this place to any and everyone.

Unlike most of Airbnb listings, this place really is a gem. The layout of the home was open, yet private. Each bedroom was perfect and I had a hard time deciding which room I wanted to sleep in. Ultimately, I chose the master bedroom which had a king-size bed, it's own thermostat and a door that led out to the closed in porch that faced the water. Watching the sunrise each morning was worth waking up early for. The kitchen was well equipped and had items that were not listed. The keurig coffee maker had a drip and pod mode and there was coffee available. The yard was large enough that it felt private. Our host was friendly and I felt like I was her personal guest. I definitely would stay here again!

My husband and I spent a week at the beach cottage. The location is unbeatable, just steps to the beach. If you are not fond of the sand, you can sit in the porch and enjoy the view. You will not want to leave! The house was clean and exactly as pictured. Cecilio and his wife answered promptly all of my questions about places to eat and things to do. If you enjoy fishing, the Ocean View pier (longest in the State of Virginia) is just a half a mile walk from the house, or a short drive. You can rent fishing poles, buy bait, and feel like a local. You can also get some crab traps and get blue crabs. The pier has a restaurant with a nice view and a full bar. The beach right outside the house feels private. It is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a good book. If you like water activities, the cottage has plenty of beach gear, including paddle boarding, and kayaks. We wanted to relax and reconnect, and this place was the perfect spot for us. Highly recommended.

We were more than satisfied with our stay! It made for a great weekend. Clean, spacious, and in a great location for exploring the area. The kitchen had everything we needed for making a family breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed it!

My parents and I stayed here for four days. It was the perfect peaceful getaway for us. The place was really cute, two bedrooms with queen size beds, a large bathroom, and the cutest kitchen-living room area. Gloucester is a sweet town to hang out in, and the host gave some great recommendations for local places to check out. Wonderful place, we will be coming back!!

Such a great location - just a short walk from the beach. Front porch is a great place in the mornings and evenings. The dining room and living room fit our group well and we squeezed in the bedrooms (4 couples + 6 kids all 3 and under) but it was perfect since we spent most time outside anyways! Adam was super helpful and quick to respond when we needed a few items. Would definitely visit again!

This place was the perfect birthday getaway surprise for my wife. She asked to go to a cabin out in the woods, and Too Fine lakehouse delivered very nice, neat, romantic, and cozy satisfaction! We are already looking forward to going back in a few months. Gina's sense of style and generous amenities makes it hard to want to leave. With lake access, fire pits, hammocks, and a covered patio, there's no reason you won't enjoy your stay. We'd highly recommend!

We will definitely be coming back for a longer stay!! We loved the location (I mean bald eagles swooping over the water at sunrise kind of love) and our daughter loved exploring the beach with the shells. The house was just so thoughtfully stocked from the extra syrup to the little fire pit for the back. We felt right at home 🩷💚🩷💚

Leslie’s place was a nice roomy cottage on the lake! In a great location with a really pretty view out back-we went out every morning and evening to see the ducks and cranes! The house had everything we needed and the couches and beds were very comfy. Leslie was very responsive and gave us some great advice while we were there! We will probably stay again in the future!

We found this place perfect for our family vacation. The yard was great for the kids to throw frisbee, football, or kick soccer ball around. In spite of the nearby fairly busy road, inside the house was very quiet. The house and grounds were well lighted. The layout was comfortable and spacious. Everything was well-stocked, and Armando was very responsive if we had any questions. Great location to grocery stores and to all things Williamsburg.

We had a terrific time at Jimmy’s cottage on the beach. You are just steps away from the water and can settle in right there with beach chairs or walk for miles on a fine sandy beach. There is always a ship or two to watch. The cottage has everything you need and has a great layout for privacy with one bedroom and bathroom on opposite sides of the house. The cottage is clean, has everything you need for relaxation and if you want, cooking something up. There is outdoor seating, a table and chairs, a grill and a hammock to while away your time in the sunny afternoon. Jimmy is incredibly friendly and responsive to any issues or needs you may have. He even let us check in early the first morning as the cottage was available. The towels and linen are super comfy as are the beds. It’s a great place to unwind and relax. Terrific seafood at Willoughby by the Bay which is just down the road at the end of the Spit. It’s a dive but the food is five star. Jimmy’s cottage is wonderful!

Our stay at this property was truly an amazing getaway. The breathtaking views and stunning sunrises from the porch were a daily delight. The home is exactly as described and absolutely beautiful. We felt like we were at home. Each room is uniquely decorated. The doors opening up from the upstairs living room to the porch outside with a comfortable couch was so wonderful. We enjoyed the quietness Beach Music offered. We look forward to coming back soon one day.

Charming cottage at a family-owned, lovingly-crafted campground. It suited our needs perfectly. We traveled with our dog and all the other dogs on site were all on leashes and well-behaved. The staff was very helpful and we would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay. The cottage was the perfect size for my group of 4 and had everything we needed for our 4 day stay. Check out instructions were easy and minimal. We spent most evenings on the beach watching the spectacular sunsets. The location was fantastic and in a lovely neighborhood and a quick and easy drive to Cape Charles. We also really appreciated the 2pm check in.

Our stay with family was a blast! We had beautiful weather for our stay and the front porch was our favorite for hanging out! And the fireplace was nice and cozy on the cooler mornings. The location is so convenient for walking downtown to restaurants and shops. Thanks for sharing your little piece of paradise!
