Loved our stay here! So peaceful sitting in the rocking chairs and enjoying the sunset and watching the stars at night. Perfect location too!

Perfect location one block walking from the beach. Locating the unit once inside the gate was confusing.. should be a sign near the generator saying “turn left here” or name of unit or some type of directional arrow. You just don’t know to walk on the back side of the generator to find a hidden walkway that actual leads up to unit via the stairs. I highly recommend this unit for a quick get away weekend. Clean and big hot shower.

We enjoyed our stay at La Esmeralda! The unit was spacious and was in a great location near lots of restaurants in the Ocean Park neighborhood. Gautaum was a great host, he made sure we had everything we needed and provided extra blankets we requested. AC cooled the bedroom quickly when we returned from a day out. We would stay here again!

This studio was located in a nice, mellow neighborhood of San Juan that is an easy walk away from the beach and shops/restaurants. The apartment is well appointed and has good window exposure and a nice deck where you can relax, get sun, etc. There’s ample parking on the street, which is great. Anyone with a Jeep should consider using the cheap and convenient gated parking on the property, since spare Jeep tires sometimes get stolen in PR. Gautam was a very good and responsive host and I would look forward to staying again sometime.

Location, location, location! So close to the beach and super accessible - steps away from many bus routes. Guatam has great recommendations for us to make our stay even better. Hope to visit again soon.

Absolutely wonderful stay at Casa Roja! The second floor has a gorgeous breeze and nice view of the neighborhood and ocean peaking through! We loved how spacious the apartment was, plenty of room for our 4 adult guests. Parking was a great bonus too. We really liked the neighborhood-it was nice and quiet yet still close enough to get in and out of town quickly. Our favorite feature of Carls place had to be the oceanfront pool! It was just the best-pristine, right on the ocean, a perfect depth, nice ledge to swim up to and just gaze out at the crashing waves. That is what I will miss the most! Can’t wait to come back and stay here again!

I thought that the apartment over-delivered on its promises and that Gautam was a responsive host. For example, Gautam gave me permission to drop off my bag before the official check-in time and, when I could not figure out how open the electronic lock to let myself out of the gated courtyard, he responded quickly with the resolution. The air conditioner in the bedroom worked brilliantly in cooling the room, creating white noise to offset street noise, & not acting as a bright night light in the room. The apartment was convenient to Ocean Beach, the Plaza Loiza supermarket, & many interesting restaurants. I recommend Kasalta for breakfast (coffee & a quesito) and Yambootik for dinner. A tip: the eastern end of Ocean Beach has a somewhat larger expanse of beach and thus draws in more people from the neighborhood at that spot. Gautam manages a number of properties in the neighborhood and could probably offer a room for various budgets. If I was to return, I would book 3 nights minimum.
