Great private location, a few miles from Whitby and at the doorstep of the North York Moors. Diana was responsive, attentive and an all around perfect host! Would definitely stay again!

This was our 2nd stay at Mechele's place. It is a great, quiet location. Home from home inside the pod. Mechele is always to hand if needed. Hope to return in the future. Hayley & Tracey

Sara and Tom we’re incredibly attentive and very helpful. They responded very quickly to my questions which allowed me to make the best out of our time in their gorgeous little abode. The room was beautifully decorated, clean and had excellent amenities. The coffee (kept in the fridge for freshness) was delicious and we received complimentary breakfast before we left for home. We were really pleased with the location. Thank you, Sara, Tom and Ted, for looking after us so brilliantly.

A lovely space! Our group of eight guests were here for a wedding so didn't get as much of a chance to explore the area as we'd like, but the cottage was a perfect weekend base. The photos don't do the room size justice - all eight of us happily fitted into the large kitchen/diner - and all the beds (including sofabed) were comfy and warm. Load of character and quirky details in the house, so much nicer than a hotel!

Perfect stay at Kate’s from start to finish. Kate was helpful, friendly and responsive and even ensured I had a DVD player to watch my training videos. Lovely private spot and spotlessly clean. Would highly recommend!

We loved our stay over the New Year! Kitty was an excellent host and very helpful ,with brilliant recommendations. The cottage was perfect with all listed amenities and clear instructions. The surrounding area was particularly beautiful with friendly locals who suggested walks and restaurants. We cannot wait to return at some point in the summer! Thank you xx

Wonderful little bungalow in a lovely village! Karen was lovely and the bungalow was pristinely clean! We walked to the pubs, cafe and restaurant with ease and so close to York, really wonderful place!

Waters meet is an Immaculate, spacious, warm and comfortable home from home. Has everything you would need for a short or long stay in a very peaceful setting. The host is extremely responsive and attentive and I honestly believe nothing would be too much trouble.

Exceptional stay! Felt instantly relaxed when we arrived here, so many personal touches in the accommodation! We came for a family break with our 3&5 year old kids and will definitely be returning, one night was not enough! We loved the hot tub and the views. The place was immaculate and so spacious, this really is 5 star accommodation and can’t recommend enough to all our family and friends! Thanks so much Fiona for all the extra attention to detail!

We settled in & the host Barrie checked to make sure everything was ok on 2 seperate occasions he was also available by e-mail the lodge was clean & tidy with good facilities in a peaceful location with cafes restaurants nearby i would recommend we had a lovely relaxing time with plenty of walking in this beautiful town

Extremely happy with the stay in the Garden Room. Beccy was a fabulous host and communication and the extra little touches made the stay for me and my boys comfortable and fun.

I booked this property as a surprise for my husband’s 40th birthday and can honestly say I fell in love with it as soon as I saw the photos. Louise & Gavin were amazing from the offset and were extremely helpful with recommendations, prompt communication and clear instructions. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and to make the weekend extra special will extra touches. We knew this property was special from the photos but we were completely blown away upon arrival. Louise & Gavin have created the most beautiful, romantic, and unique place to allow you to completely switch off from reality and truly relax. They have literally thought of everything and the place has been finished to such a high standard and the view from the balcony/hot tub is breathtaking! We had the perfect weekend away and will most definitely be back.

This was a very nice place for my boyfriend and I to stay while visiting the Lakes for the weekend, we especially liked watching the birds in the morning at the bird feeders outside before heading off for our walks. It’s a lovely, peaceful place and we would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Had a great time staying at Mick's over the Christmas Holiday...We were visiting our elderly parents in Drighlington and staying at Micks just gave us the extra space to relax and spread out as a Family...The place is perfect for exploring the area and Mick was incredibly accommodating and a great Craic to boot. Place is clean and cozy but still has plenty of space. Good value and as mentioned in other reviews, the photos don't do it justice! Thanks for everything Mick...Hopefully we will get to see you again and maybe grab a pint in the Spotted Cow! Andrew

We very much enjoyed our stay at Nicola's Guest Suite. Everything was clean and fresh and comfortable. The situation of the property was ideal for our trips around Nidderdale. It was set down a quiet lane with easy access to the man roads. Communications with Nichola were very smooth as she sent detailed and thorough instructions to find the property. We would definitely stay there again if we were in the area.

We stayed 2 nights at Honeybee Lodge. The lodge was easy to find. Check-in was simple. The Lodge is on a quiet park with 2 fantastic restaurants close by. Everything that we needed to make our stay comfortable was available. There's plenty of space for 4 and I'm sure that when the weather is better that the decking area would be a superb spot for evening dining. The hot tub was clean and ready to use. A great base for exploring York and the surrounding areas.

My husband and I had a great time staying here. The cottage is absolutely lovely! I really appreciated the pretty and cozy decor and finishings. As an artist, Dorothy knows what she's doing and has created a lovely place to relax and unwind. We brought our road bikes and were thrilled with the rides that we did along Swaledale and up a bit out of the valley. The bath and the stove were very welcome after our rides! We are fully intending to come back here to stay longer. We also particularly enjoyed a meal at the Kings Head along the road in Gunnerside (can recommend the steak pie!).
