A lovely dog friendly place to stay in a beautiful part of the world. Loved being walking distance to several beaches and a short drive to places like Terrigal and Toowoon Bay. Super comfortable, with everything you could possibly need. We will definitely be back!

We loved our stay at Le Chateau! The house is very well kept and big enough for large groups with multiple seating areas. The kitchen is great for those who love cooking with 2 fridges. Very clear instructions and manuals for using AC / stove / spa etc. Would definitely recommend a stay here and would love to return

We stayed at Helen’s for 2 months while preparing to move out of the country. We love the location- it is walkable to public transit, the beach, parks and restaurants/shops. Despite being close to everything it is also quiet and peaceful, which is not always easy to find in Sydney. Helen and Tony are amazing hosts, always responsive and communicative. The house is equipped with everything you could need and you immediately feel at home. I cannot speak highly enough of the experience. We greatly appreciated and felt lucky to be able to stay there!

We had a lovely stay in Kaye's house. The house is beautifully decorated, larger than we initially thought and has all the necessary amenities and is very comfortable. It is walking distance from the station and shops and public transport is very easy. Kaye had organized breakfast for us and a nice bottle of wine and sweeties waited for us when we arrived. The check-in/check-out procedure was well explained and easy to follow. We recommend this rental to the Airbnb community.

We have returned home after our second visit to The Shire and again it was perfect. From walking through the door you immediately feel at home. The property is bright, clean and spacious and smells wonderful. It is in a great position for walking to the supermarket or to the railway station for trains to Sydney or the nearest beach at Cronulla. The door entry system is a great idea as you don’t need to be worrying about keys when you are out and about. Rebecca is a very considerate host. Thank you Rebecca we hope to visit again.

Wow what a beautiful home and gardens. Everything is catered for your needs and you are made to feel at home with the special touches of welcome basket and some essential items already in the fridge. Could not ask for a better stay for our travel purposes. Was a half hour walk to Blacktown sportspark, short stroll to local shops and pub. Street is very quiet. As we were there for a sporting event we really didn’t get to make the most of what the property has to offer with the beautiful Outdoor area, spa and pizza oven. Highly recommend this property. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This was the perfect halfway stopover for us en route between Northern Rivers and Melbourne. So great to be able to stop for a quiet night of rest while travelling with our pets. Very comfortable and clean.

Great property in ideal location - plenty of undercover entertaining space and exceptionally well appointed throughout. Jacuzzi and fireplace complement outdoor entertaining options. Excellent host (Carla) was responsive, helpful and added to the experience. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful views from the balcony and pool. We loved watching the amazing sunrises and the moon coming up over the water. Easy walk to the restaurants at Dee Why.
