This cabin was so dreamy! On our drive in, we spotted a beautiful gray fox and a few deer. The forest surrounding the cabin is just beautiful. The cabin had everything we needed. I thought I wouldn’t like to walk to the bath house, but honestly I thoroughly enjoyed it. It’s only a short walk, and it gives you multiple chances to spot wildlife. The bath house is clean and has everything you need. I especially enjoyed the French press coffee and slow mornings reading in the cabin

Seymour was responsive and check-in was a breeze. We felt right at home in the tidy house with spacious rooms. The labels around the house were helpful and unobtrusive. Great location for tourists, and nature lovers. Shopping, dining and a lovely coffeeshop near by. Comfortable beds and linens. This was definitely the best Air B&B I’ve stayed in and hope to stay here again each time I return to the island.

We needed a place to stay in Vic West near family for Christmas with our dog and Douglas’s place was the perfect home away from home for us. A top reason for our stay here was the walkability, fenced in yard for our dog, the big school field across the street, and near lots of walkable trails and cute neighborhood. As for the house, his home was very cozy and unique, filled with antiques and vintage decor, great leather couches, with a comfortable layout, big living room and kitchen, 2(!) bathrooms and a great selection of VHS tapes that we enjoyed. My partner was very excited about the extensive selection of old skate videos. Beautiful updated bathroom with a great shower was appreciated as well. Highly recommend this place if you need a private and comfortable home that’s pet friendly. Also Douglas you are a very cool guy and a great host! Thank you!

Amber’s place was perfect for our group. Close to Victoria yet so quiet and rural. The home was cozy, clean and well equipped. A beautiful property with the added bonus of of a hot tub. Very well looked after and the host Amber, was wonderful and helpful.

This is a very comfortable, well-maintained condo that has just about everything that you’d need for a longer stay. It is well-located in the village of Sooke, and we were able to walk to Wild Mountain restaurant, which we highly recommend. There is lots to do in the local area, from Sooke Potholes and the Sooke Regional Museum, to lunch at Sooke Harbour House. While at Sooke Potholes we were lucky enough to see salmon swimming upstream to spawn, just a magical site! We had a wonderful time, and would stay at Rick’s again on a return visit.

While the location is quite far from downtown Victoria, it's so spacious and comfortable for our family of 8. Costco is also very close by. The house is a little old but everything was functional. The large washer/dryer were also lifesavers for us. Thank you for the lovely stay!

Sheri’s cottage was absolutely fantastic. It was extremely clean and had all amenities. The location allowed us to walk to the water and a short drive to everywhere else. Stay here instead of Victoria, especially if your adventures are towards Port Renfrew or north. Highly recommend Sheri’s cottage.

This is a beautiful, tranquil location and lovely home. DM is a very attentive host, almost like a mom :) There were a lot of thoughtfully tailored touches that welcomed us and made us feel at home, including some really lovely breakfasts. It made for a very nice, cozy getaway with a lot of nice perks - massage table, firepit, and a super comfortable hot tub. if you're looking to be charmed by East Sooke, this is a fantastic place for it!

For any who are seeking a great place to stay in Victoria's Colwood area, look no further! This is the place! It had everything I needed for a perfect stay ... and more! Duncan and Vi keep house and gardens in immaculate condition. I would be back in a heartbeat!

Dave's place is a garden suite. It was bright and open feeling. The bedrooms were of ample size. The one bed was a little squeaky, but comfortable enough. Oh! The pillows. So many to choose from. I can't imagine anyone wouldn't find the right fit. Nice little touches; tissues in every room. Milk and cream and butter and plenty of other condiments. Induction burners. I want them for my place!

We had a wonderful time at Benjamin place. He is a wonderful host and we will definitely stay there again

: We stayed at Jiva’s Airbnb for a girls’ weekend to celebrate my mom’s 70th, and it was absolutely perfect! The views of the ocean and mountains are simply breathtaking—better than we could have imagined. The accommodations were wonderful: very clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed. We especially loved relaxing in the hot tub every night, taking in the scenery and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. It was the perfect spot for a special celebration, and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommend!

A sweet suite indeed! The two of us were there for 2 weeks and it was great. Christine was there when we needed her—which wasn’t often cos the suite is so thoughtfully equipped. The neighbourhood is lovely. Seaside walks not too far away, and restaurants, cafes and groceries within easy walking distance. We had a car but took the bus downtown cos it was fast and easy. We look forward to staying there again next time we visit family in Victoria. Thanks!

Lovely place to stay. Basement of a house in a residential neighborhood. The owners live upstairs and are very friendly. For example, when I went to ask for an extra towel, they gave me three right away. Very comfortable and close enough to the places we wanted to visit. One thing to know beforehand is that the neighbors have a large dog who resides in their backyard (separated by a fence) who is an enthusiastic greeter — don’t be alarmed!

This is a genuine place and clearly a primary residence for the family - honoured to be hosted in their home (not just a house). Books of Harry Potter, Disney and precious jade statues all around in full trust of Airbnb tenants… faith in humanity! I was afraid my kids would stumble into them accidentally but fortunately everything stayed intact :) Thank you again for your 1970s gorgeous and well kept decor - a blast into the past!

Space was rented for a few employees who were working on the area, it served its purpose!

Our stay was truly amazing. 8 adults with 8 kids under 8yrs were entertained for the full week. The house was perfect and as advertised. The property was truly spectacular and has all you need to have a week of relaxation and exploration. Great for families

Hallo Jennifer, vielen Dank, dass wir bei dir wohnen und die schöne Aussicht auf die Bucht genießen durften. Alle Zimmer, Küche, Bad sind modern eingerichtet und sehr gut ausgestattet . Wir haben in Sooke und der Umgebung viel unternommen . Hervorzuheben ist der Mc Gregor Boardwalk, wo man den Krabben Fischern zusehen kann. Wiffin Spit mit Orcabeobachtung. juan de fuca Trail 2 km langer magischer Trail zur Mystic Beach . Vombsombrio Beach konnten Wir Grauwale sehen. Am besten immer ein Fernglas mitnehmen. Den Schwarzbären Big Ben vor deiner Haustür haben wir leider nicht gesehen. Dafür gab’s Brombeeren jeden Morgen zum Frühstück frisch gepflückt. Danke und Viele Grüße, Tilo
