Great apartment. Very clean and great location

Great location for walks and local nature and geology in lovely village. The National Fisheries Museum around the corner was a revelation - really well worth a visit. Sam is a responsive hostess.

Had a fabulous long weekend at the Puffin Burrow. Perfectly located just across from the beach and a few minutes walk to some great places to eat in town. We loved sitting in the window watching the sea with a glass of wine or cup of coffee (depending on the time of day!) A great base for exploring North Berwick and once we’d parked we didn’t move the car until we left. Walked from our door along the coast to Tantallon Castle and the cliff top Drift cafe (recommended!) as well as to the top of the Law for a great view. Slept well in the very comfy bed after enjoying the sea air.

Helen was a wonderful host.The place is also wonderful.We loved everything about.Look forward to going back hopefully.David and Katrina

Review of 32 The Scores, St Andrews I had an incredible stay at 32 The Scores! The location is simply unbeatable—just a short stroll from the Old Course, with stunning views over the coastline. Whether you're a golf enthusiast or just looking to soak up the charm of St Andrews, this apartment is perfectly situated. The apartment itself is beautifully maintained, spacious, and filled with natural light. The decor strikes a perfect balance between modern comfort and classic elegance, making it feel both luxurious and welcoming. The views from the windows are breathtaking, especially at sunset. Everything about my stay was seamless, from check-in to communication with the host. If you're visiting St Andrews, I can't recommend 32 The Scores highly enough—it's the perfect base for an unforgettable experience!

Lived up to all expectations. Warm and cosy for a winter retreat with great views and easy access to the beach and all the amenities in the town.

Beautiful and very spacious appartement with direct access to the beach. We very much enjoyed walking on the beach and exploring the charming region with highlights such as St. Andrews, Crail, St. Monans, Anstruther, Falkland, Dumfernline, which are all close by. Only 1 hour from Edinburgh Airport. Shona is a very attentive and kind host and she provided us impressively quickly with wood, torches, candles and power banks after a power cut in the town, thereby contributing to a romantic evening before the fireplace. We would definitely come back another time.

Fantastic stay at Angela's property this weekend. We were up in St Andrews golfing and it was a great base for the weekend. Only a few minutes walk into the main town centre and situated in a beautiful location at the harbour with stunning views out to sea. Nice to be in such a peaceful location but also be able to so quickly be in the main streets of the town. Angela's communication was friendly and she was very helpful with any questions we had. The property was comfortable and had everything we needed as a base for a great weekend. I'd definitely recommend and stay again in the future.

Brilliant wee holiday home. Has everything you need. Lovely outdoor spaces are a bonus and it's in the perfect location: beach, park, fish, chips, pub, and ice cream all within 2 mins walk.

We absolutely loved staying at Helen's Old Post Office. We stayed in St Monan's for my 30th birthday and it was exactly what we were after. As we didn't have a car, we found it amazing to be able to walk to all the coastal villages via the Fife Coastal Path. We loved getting a feel for all the different little villages. Helen's cottage - it's so precious to find a place that has retained many of the little details that made the house's original charm. Warning to tall people: my partner who is rather tall did bump his head a couple of times due to the quirky original layout of the cottage, but totally worth it for the experience of sleeping in the very comfortable top room, with the window facing the harbour! The bed and mattress were also super comfortable and we slept incredibly well. We met Helen on our last day who very kindly offered to drive us to St Andrews to help us catch our bus back to Dundee. A very kind lady who clearly loves the place she rents out!

We stayed at Jane's for three months while colleagues worked on night shift. The assistance we needed on changeover weekends was made so much easier with her help while I juggled people up and down to Scotland. All the people who stayed loved the cottage. The location for us was great also. Jane has been a great host - thank you so much.

We have stayed once before so knew it would be ideal for a large family gathering spanning generations. We especially value the downstairs bedrooms and bathrooms for older family members. We enjoyed the views including the progress on the new bridge over the Tay. We know Pertshire from longstanding family holidays. It remains as beautiful as ever.

We had a great stay over New Year. Loved the location which was perfect for our Hogmanay at The Ship Inn. Lots of space (and really appreciated having multiple showers). The real fire made it extra cosy at this time of year and the Xmas tree/decorations were the perfect finishing touch. Clearly a much loved house.

I have just returned from a 3 night stay in Anstruther over Hogmanay . we were a party of 2 couples and found the house to be a good size for us. As other viewers have said the bedrooms being on different floors affords a good degree of privacy. 2 of the bedrooms have lovely sea views. The living area is comfortable and cozy but might be a bit of a squeeze for 6 adults. the location is excellent for the fife coastal walk and there are plenty of good local pubs and restaurants within walking distance. I would recommend the tall ship with the only proviso that the many stairs would make it unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

A lovely little cottage to enjoy the beautiful North Queensferry. The house is beautifully presented and really feels homely and welcoming. The bedrooms are great sizes and the bathroom was spotless. Will definitely be staying here again!

Perfect stay in every way. Loved the location and loved sitting looking out to sea with my glass of wine. Delighted to say that everything was exactly as in the photographs. Great location for walking along the beach and also we could walk in a few mins to the local theatre, shops , bars & restaurants. Plenty of free parking. Look forward to booking again.

This place is exactly as described. Quaint and cozy with everything we needed! Close to beautiful walking trails on the shore and Main Street shopping and pubs. Jennifer was easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area.

This is a little gem, literally right on the beach front. The apartment has everything you will need to enjoy a stay in Anstruther, and service from the very professional hosts was second to none. You could throw a stone to the Wee Chippy and Eastern Touch restaurants they're also so close, and I'd highly recommend both. Would definitely stay again!

Will definitely be back. Very high standard apartment with quality fixtures, fittings and amenities rarely seen in rental/holiday homes. Everything worked and was spotless. The apartment had absolutely everything we needed. The location is great. Very walkable into town in less than 10 minutes with lots of restaurants, shops and bars. Carolyn was a fantastic host. Flexible and very responsive with communications.

Jon and Lindsey’s lovely flat was the perfect base for us to explore Culross from. It was very clean and cosy, with wonderful views from the kitchen/living room. Everything we could have needed was provided for us. Jon was extremely helpful and understanding when we had to cancel our original booking due to a storm. Communication throughout our stay was great, we would definitely return.

My mum and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Victoria's apartment in Dalgety Bay. It was a fab place, had everything you needed, just like being at home. Victoria even provided a much appreciated welcome pack, including milk, bread, biscuits, crisps and cereals. The cupboards had salt n pepper, oil, coffee, sugar. All the kind of things you'd have to buy as extras. Tea towels and cloths, cleaning materials, all were there to use if needed. The heating was easy to use, all radiators are electric, with digital thermostat controls. The bathroom was lovely, powerful electric shower in the bath with a heater on the wall. The apartment itself is set within a housing development, with houses and apartments side by side. It's a very attractive area and the coastal path runs right alongside it. There are supermarkets and petrol station's within 5/10 minutes drive and a lovely restaurant called The Compass, right next to the BP garage/M&S food, which we ate in one night. Very friendly staff.

Lisa was the perfect host who greeted us on arrival, was friendly, showed us around the property, and provided some excellent recommendations. The property is in a fantastic location with easy access to the beach. It was immaculate with extremely comfortable beds and contained everything that you would need from a home away from home. It is a very quiet and peaceful property. There were some really nice personal touches, like a nice welcome pack on arrival. I would highly recommend this property.
